Yoder Milton G, MD, FACS – Specializing In Ear, Nose, & Throat

Yoder Milton G, MD attended Medical School at Ohio State University. He completed residencies in Surgery and Otorhinolaryngology at Vanderbilt University Hospital and University of Michigan Medical Center. He held academic appointments at the Medical College of Georgia, University of Tennessee College of Medicine and Johns Hopkins College of Medicine. After his military service he went into private practice and earned his Board Certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Yoder has been in solo practice since 1989 at his current locations. He has enjoyed the pleasure of having whole families depend on him for their otolaryngology care, and now is treating the next generation of those families.

His office specializes in treating patients from geriatrics to pediatrics. Specifically treating sinuses, ears and throats. Dr. Yoder enjoys treating his young patients for tonsillitis and ear fluid, doing tonsillectomy and ear tubes as needed for treatment of their various medical issues. For the adults and geriatric patients treatment of nosebleeds and earwax removal is common.

Dr. Yoder currently does surgical cases at Towson Surgical Center and Franklin Square Medical Center. He is also able to perform some small procedures in the office as a licensed physician in the state of Maryland. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology & Head & Neck Surgery.

Susan L. Buckley, MA, CCC-A – Audiologist

Susan L. Buckley, MA, CCC-A, has been a licensed audiologist for the past 28 years. Susan obtained her Bachelor Degree in Communicative Disorders at California State University Long Beach. Following the completion of her Master’s Degree in Audiology from California State University Los Angeles, she completed her clinical fellowship year at the Veterans Hospital in Long Beach, California. In California, Susan worked in a private practice setting providing a variety of clinical tests and dispensing the latest hearing aid technology.

Susan re-located to Maryland and in 1998 she joined Dr. Milton G. Yoder in his Otolaryngology practice. As an integral part of Dr. Yoder’s practice, Susan provides a caring, compassionate environment for her patients. She continues to offer her patients audiometric testing and evaluations. She also enjoys working with the ever-evolving technology of hearing aids and strives to provide the absolute best solution for each individual patient.

Susan is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and a member of the Maryland Academy of Audiology. She is also licensed by the state of Maryland, license number 849.

Elaine C. Welch, M.S., F-AAA – Audiologist

Elaine has been practicing Audiology for almost 30 years. She has worked in Dr. Yoder’s office over the past 21 years, although not consecutively. Elaine has worked in other ENT offices and she was an Educational Audiologist in the Baltimore City School System. She home-schooled her son and when he later attended high school she was very active in the school community. Currently, she is enrolled in the Doctor of Audiology Distance Learning Program at the University of Florida.

Her philosophy regarding hearing health is patient centered. A patient’s ability to hear is critical to quality of life. Whether it is recommending preferential seating in school for a child with middle ear fluid or fitting an older patient with hearing aids so they can participate fully in family gatherings, the patient’s well being is in the forefront of all decisions.
